Many thanks for this. Always admired his transcriptions, faithful to the originals and never played too fast. I still have the book but like most people lost the little floppy record, it's probably stuck on an old 78 somewhere to make it sit flat on the deck. My favourites are Heliotrope Bouquet and Bink's Waltz which I learned from the book, but they're all wonderful. Who else would have arranged Bink's Waltz for the guitar!
Superb arranger! I have three of his books: Fingerstyle Swing, Guitars Solos in Open & Altered Tunings (featuring mostly celtic & renaissance repertoire) and a workbook called Fingerpicking Scales. Very recomendable.
Thanks so much for uploading this. I have the book of transcriptions, which came with a little floppy record, but it had only partial versions of most of the pieces.
