Review by Keith Istre

Living Colour's latest album "Fight the Fight" is a powerful and politically charged record that showcases the band's signature blend of hard rock, funk, and soul. From the opening track "Freedom of Expression (F.O.X.)" to the closing ballad "Two Sides", the album is a reflection on the current state of the world and the need for social justice and equality.

The band's musicianship is on full display throughout the album, with Vernon Reid's guitar playing leading the charge. Corey Glover's vocals are as powerful as ever, bringing a sense of urgency to each song. The rhythm section of Doug Wimbish and Will Calhoun provide a solid foundation for the band's sound, with Wimbish's bass lines and Calhoun's drumming driving the songs forward.

"Program" is a standout track, with its catchy chorus and blistering guitar solo. "This Place Hotel" is a cover of a Michael Jackson song, but Living Colour makes it their own with their unique arrangement and Glover's soulful vocals. "Mantra" is another highlight, with its infectious groove and message of hope and perseverance.
